In social media Facebook is very popular and almost 90 percent of people use Facebook. For some it's like a new separate life and if something is so important one should have privacy and protection. Which we think we have by having a strong password But that's not true your Facebook account can be hacked and that too very easily.

Why people hack your account?


As Facebook is popular in social media and it's LIKEs have a lot of value on search results in search engines that;s why most of accounts are hacked to increase traffic on specific Facebook pages or Websites. Most of the time accounts are hacked for fake likes but other purpose can be gaining some personal information about a specific person as Facebook account contains all info about you eg: Contact info , Names of friends and family ,and many other information can be gathered about a person from his/her Facebook account.

How your account gets hacked?


This is a simple trick called phishing. In this process web designers create a fake Facebook login page and get your IP address by chatting or playing game with you. After this when ever a request for Facebook account is sent from your IP that fake page is shown on your screen. You enter your ID and Password correctly but you are directed to forgotten password page of Facebook site. You think that you made some mistake and re enter ID and -Password you get logged in Facebook and that fake Facebook page containing your ID and Password returns to hacker.This is how your Facebook account gets hacked and you don't even know about it.

How to check whether your account is hacked 


There is no proper solution for this but you can change and you should change your password regularly and check the pages that you liked recently if all the pages shown are correct then your Facebook account is secure else someone hacked your account to like all those pages.
