HTC EVO 4G LITE Messaging Problem after Reboot

HTC EVO 4G LITE is one of the best phones of HTC. It has great features like it supports 3G which is not common in most of devices that came in market at the time when HTC EVO 4G LITE was launched. It has good shape and metallic casing which you can say is part of almost every HTC device. It has lot of good features but?

Why Messages are blocked?


There is one problem with HTC EVO 4G LITE and that is when you reboot your HTC EVO 4G LITE for some reason after the reboot is complete you face problem related to messaging. After reboot you are not able to send or receive message on your device. If you are a student , business man or any person who receives a lot of important info on messages than this could be very troublesome for you.

Same thing happened to one of my friends and it took almost took three days to solve this problem. It is not a fault in device its just that when you reboot your HTC EVO 4G LITE some configuration settings related to messages are deleted which causes problem in sending and receiving messages.

When I searched for solution to this problem I found a lot of videos and written material that guides to open settings then go to bottam of list and and click on system update , update profile and update PRL settings

We tried it connected cell phone to wifi network and did as told in videos and different forums and waited for almost thirty minutes but nothing happened and we had look at that circular symbol for one hour because we tried twice. And we also tried different repair shops but after all this our problem was not solved.

Solution To This Problem


There is a very simple solution to this problem. Get your Sim out of your HTC EVO 4G LITE and place it in another phone. Enable data package on your Sim through that phone. Put that Sim back in your HTC EVO 4G LITE and power it on. When you enable data on your HTC EVO 4G LITE your profile and PRL settings will automatically be Updated. If it woks then your problem is solved but if it doesn't work go to update settings and update profile and PRL settings. This time you won't have to wait for long it will take only 30 to 50 sec and your configuration settings will be updated. After this you will be able to send and receive messages.

This worked for me I hope it solves your problem too.
